When one is in the open - facing the open sea - one is at the prime state of creation. There is a strong similarity between a thought and the wind that flows over the eternal space of the plains. All individuals have the capacity to create out of the abyss since they all store images in their brain that allow them to do so.
In the case of my work, I tend to close my eyes and let these images mix and match to best create what I have always wanted to see, touch, feel and smell. These creations are therefore as real as they can get, since they are all derived from experiences, conversations, or unconscious imagery. I create from gut feeling and I produce as I act, since it is only through playing that I can be truly imaginative. I have great admiration for the variety in the world, its people and its natural characteristics.
Nothing is more natural than the world and the way in communicates with us. I wish to attain the same state of being in order to communicate my thoughts in a similar spontaneous way.
